On this site you will find information about Playa del SOL, the working name of SOL Sports where all beach volleyball activities organized by Arno van Solkema are kept.

Playa del SOL has been active since the 2005 season, starting in Zaandam (2005-2007), then in Heerenveen (2008-2011), from 2012 in Sneek and in 2015 also in Leeuwarden.

Certified trainers have been deployed in collaboration with BVS from Sneek and BeachLeeuwarden.
Training was given to the members of BVCG and TweeSlag in Groningen.
We also organize beach volleyball training courses every year in various places in Friesland, Groningen and Drenthe.

During the May and autumn holidays, Playa del SOL organizes beach volleyball camps on the most beautiful beaches in Europe.
Turkey in 2014 and 2015, Spain in 2016 and in 2017 we went to Italy.
In 2019 we went back to a well-known location, club Kastalia in Turkey.

Beach volleyball camps present a new challenge in the Netherlands, in 2016 a start was made with a camp on Texel.
